Infrastructure
As communities grow and infrastructure ages, we partner with public agencies and utility providers to deliver critical upgrades that keep society moving—safely, reliably, and sustainably. From modernizing power grids and water treatment facilities to expanding highways and replacing aging bridges, we help meet the demands of tomorrow without disrupting the essential services people rely on today.
Project Experience We Draw From
I-5/Portland Avenue to Port of Tacoma Road - Southbound HOV
Tacoma, WA
This project relieved congestion, enhanced mobility, improved traffic operations, and provided a travel time advantage to transit and HOV traffic by completing the Tacoma/Pierce County HOV System on I-5 between the King County Line and SR 16.
Little Patuxent Water Reclamation Plant Addition
Savage, MD
Construction included a new denitrification facility to comply with stricter nutrient discharge limits in the Chesapeake Bay and rehabilitation and expansion of the plant’s headworks, primary, and secondary treatment systems.
Harvard Substation
Washington, DC
The team preserved the 113-year-old facade on the existing substation, demolished the structure, and constructed a new building that integrated the historic facade, all to house a new Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) Bus with breaker and a half (BAAH) scheme. Elements of the historic wood roof were preserved and reinstalled. Clark constructed electrical and auxiliary systems to support new gas insulated equipment.
